On launch day for the 360. Slept outside bestbuy and was number 21 out of 25. We got there at 4pm day before and had to camp out on the side of the store. I remember telling a friend that if we had a TV that could withstand cold weather (I am in WA state) we could have hooked it up to his van and played while in line.

I just cannot get over the cell shading. I'm not saying it has no place for some folks, I just don't like the look and feel of it.
But I go on that glimer of hope that proper testing was done by the devs. I hate that they dangle the carrot but punish those who go to take a bite. And outsourcing the call center to India just ads fuel to the fire. Trying to have a conversation with someone who doesn't speak english is the most frusteration thing ever. If I didn't give these companies my hard earned money then I cannot really gripe. But I have spent thousands on MS, Apple, Dell, etc products.

I have been having to avoid spoiler threads for the last 3 months. Didn't play the demo, watch any online clips, nothing. I want to have the experience be as pure as possible. 1 more day. No biggie.
My point was that when you are breaking ground on new technology, you should really dedicate a good portion to Quality Control. NASA does it. MS not so much.
